Women’s Shapewear

This is Monique of Womens-shapewear.com.  I hope you all are doing great and are well.  It’s the holiday season and I just wanted to stop by and say Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.

I have a holiday dinner coming up and I have not decided yet what i’m going to wear.  No doubt I am going to wear a piece of shapewear underneath it all.

Just wanted to share a bit.  For all you ladies with a shape like the Buddah (that’s me).  I have a large tummy up front and I am full through the hips and thighs.  The shapewear that works best for me is the thigh trimmer style.   The body suits I have found since I have gained more weight (sigh) leaves the area around the lower stomach and upper thigh uncovered and has less than desirable results so the thigh trimmer style covers it all and is best for me.

If you are wearing a gown, be sure to remember if you intend on wearing a piece of shapewear to bring the shapewear with you when you try on your dress to make sure everything fits and does not show through the dress.

I have seen for instance with the old-school waist trimmers sometimes the diamond-shape designs can show through fabrics that are really shear so be sure to test that out before purchasing.  Smooth styles such as a slip shaper would be best for form fitting dresses.
