Revelation From Dr. Rey- The Sleep Bra

I am getting a little education today as I am watching Dr. Rey on HSN promoting his shapewear line.  I wear a bra all day and at night time maybe a couple of times a week I go braless.  According to Dr. Rey, who is a noted Hollywood plastic surgeon, we should be wearing a bra at night to sleep to keep the breast tissues from sagging and hanging at night.  When we sleep at night, the breasts move to the sides and that causes wear and tear on the girls.  We don’t want that ladies.  It’s a bit late for me… :-) but for those reading and are younger…get those girls protected at night to stay perky.   He states some women are allergic to underwire…mine just come out and poke me to death…I hate that.   This sleep bra would be great for someone like that.  It ’s also great for lounging after work.  It is great for training bra as well.   He said something interesting that caught my ear.  He said in his practice he sees a cross section of generations.  The daughter, the mother and the grandmother.  He noted that the daughter and mother have droopy breasts but the grandmother has firm well supported girls.  What’s the difference??  Mom and daughter have stopped wearing bras consistently and run free without bras during the day and at night.

I remember both my grandmas always wore a good bra, stockings, and support undergarments.   I have been talking about this and this just confirms it.  We need to get back to what we call ” the old stuff”.  There is a need to wear a slip, a camisole, a good bra, and support hose.  It helps hold us in and keep a youthful appearance once we take off our clothes and are “naked” in the mirror.   I liken it to something like body armor to protect the contents and preserve it.   Call me weird but I’m gonna keep saying it.  Let’s get the bras and shapewear on and look our best.   If you want varicose veins, hanging breasts, poochy bellies, floppy butts, and muffin tops, then keep doing what you’re doing and wear nothing at all.  Have it your way.

I’m not going out like that, what about you?
